NEW EVENT PARKING LOCATION AT ELLERSLIE
We have been advised that parking for all events has moved from the Southern Motorway carpark (Ascot Avenue) to the infield carpark, accessible via 16 Derby Downs Place. Parking remains free. Please see below for details.
Getting Here
Parking for an event: Please enter at 16 Derby Downs Place, drive through the tunnel and continue on the road until you reach the carpark that is located within the racecourse infield. Parking is free in this carpark.
Once you have parked your car, head on foot to the pedestrian tunnel which will guide you safely beneath the racetrack to reach the event Centre. (Please do not cross the racetrack itself). It's about a 200m walk from the carpark to the Ellerslie Stand.
On Foot, Taxi, or Rideshare: Drop-offs and foot access remain available via 100 Ascot Avenue.
Accessible Parking
Accessible parking is still available near the event centre. Guests with permits or prior arrangements can use the designated spaces accessible via 100 Ascot Avenue. If you have specific access needs, please contact Kimiora to make arrangements.
Why The Change?
The change to parking has been introduced as a result of the sale of land that the Southern Motorway carpark once occupied. Simplicity Living now own that land and are progressing with plans to develop the site.
